What is collected, and why

The details you enter in the form, used only to handle your registration and to contact you about this workshop. Email is the way I contact you.

Future workshops

Only if you tick the box on the form, your name and email address are also used to tell you about future workshops with Master Chen Ziqiang. Every such email says how to be removed from the list, and one reply is enough.

Mobile number and WhatsApp

The mobile number is optional. If you give it, it is used only to add you to the participants' WhatsApp group. WhatsApp is run by Meta, and the other members of the group will see your number. You can leave the group at any time.

Where it is held

Your registration is encrypted when it arrives, on a server at DigitalOcean in Frankfurt, Germany. Only the organiser can decrypt it.

How long it is kept

The organiser copies registrations off the server, normally within a few days, and deletes them there. The copies are deleted by 30 June 2027, once the workshop is over. If you ticked the box for future workshops, your name and email address are kept for that purpose until you ask to be removed; nothing else is.
